With spring in the air our hearts are drawn outdoors, yet the change in the season reminds me of how much work we need to get done. With so much that goes on in the spring and summer months I decided to create worksheet to help us review all the letters that we have learned so far, so we don't forget them :) One of our favorite ways to learn our letters is through themes. This is a great way to introduce letters and make associations with things they know and to explore things that they don't. There are many ways to teach and this is the easiest way for me as a mom to stay organized and plan ahead. Here are links to all the letter post we have done so far: Letter F (Four of July Theme) Letter P (All things P) Letter I (Ice cream) Letter H (Health) Letter W (Weather) Letter S (Snow) Letter B (Bugs) Free Worksheets!

Once upon a time theme....This was a great way to teach about stories, create puppet shows and make believe. Exploring castles, old ladies and their shoes houses, and the princesses with peas in their beds. I loved watching them put on plays, ride around like knights and creating their own fairy tale kingdom. Free Castle Printable
Have fun with it...Three little kittens lost their mittens and we helped them hang them out to dry. Learning great fine motor skills while playing, is one of my goals during preschool. Developing our fine motor skills is a great way to involve the younger one into your preschool activities. Include all different types of learning styles and play. Sensory bin with a castle and a water moat. Or climb like jack up the bean stalk. Possibilities are endless. Creative free play by making a forest where all different magical creatures can come to play. With my older child I covered the processes of a story. Teaching how stories have a beginning, middle and an end. Then out came the blankets hung over the kitchen chairs and they put on a play with what they learned about stories.
