It seems like I am reminiscing since turning the big 3.0 and now that my oldest is in kindergarten! I graduated college and became a mom all within two weeks of each other. In fact both our babies were born during our undergrad college student years. The idea was scary and daunting on a college budget but we made it through and with a savings account. Yeah I know right? How? Well,it took a lot of work, frugality and organization. But don't worry I am going to break it down even more than that, right here for you. So keep reading! First, it isn't impossible, our grandparents had children during some of the hardest years of war, depression and instability. The biggest question (I think) is am I ready for the sacrifices that come from parenting? The constant putting others needs before your own...and even if that means doing school work late at night while up with a sick kid or feeding a baby.
"My kids had more fun playing with the cardboard box than the toy I just bought them." Minimize wants and Maximize your time. And good luck! Just know that others have done it before and you can too. Advice from Amy a Mother of 4
