A lively family of five from the West trying to navigate through years of education. The adventure started when the Hubby J and I married during our undergrad years and even added to our little family while pursuing our bachelors degrees. We found ourselves in pursuit of further education to follow our dreams for our family and our desire be apart of better mental health care that later turned into other field altogether (isn't that life). We live by frugally pinching pennies, hard work, and the diy spirit.
I am completely in love with thrift stores, promo codes, and farmhouse decor. Through our children I have learned that nothing provides more hours of entertainment than a cardboard boxes, dirt in the garden, and bubbles in the bathtub. I am a tireless seeker of knowledge and LOVE farmhouse decor (I think it is because it reminds me of my childhood). Dishes are not my favorite household chore and I do not like tapioca pudding. Icing a cake is beyond me but I love to cook. Food is better when it is shared, so I am always finding ways to invite our friends and family over to share a meal.
Family is so important to me and I wish to carry on the legacy that was left to fill by so many loved ones. During this journey of finding a career for our family and sharing it here on this blog, I hope you find solace in that your are not alone. There are other couples and families out there finding their way through college, higher education, and other programs that are just like you. Read and learn along with us as we experience the journey. Comment and let us know what you are learning, share ideas and let us grow together. That is my biggest wish for this blog. And I cannot wait to connect with you.
