Need a simple project that can be completed in less than an hour? I found a piece of burlap in a scrap fabric stash at Michaels that was discounted down and just the prefect size for a table runner. I was in the mood for all things fall and in desperate need of mom project to keep my sanity. So with a $2 table runner project as the answer, I got to work as the kids painted some master pieces of their own. Making it a win win for everyone. Step 1: Choose your fabric and wording and font. Cut out your letters. I loved this free Printable from www.thepaintedhinge.com. The Painted Hinge projects are always so amazing, so I added her lettering to my own project. Step 2: Outline with pen your font onto your fabric. Step 3: Using puff paint to fill in my letters but then using a small paint brush to make the letters flat not puffy ( so that it won't peel off later). Really smoothing out the lettering into the fabric and letting it dry well. Because I used a burlap fabric and to prevent a lot of fraying I sewed around the edges. So technically you could count this as step 4 but I am not going to...;)
